Temporary Closure of part of B9055 Brodgar Road for Walk the Plank Event

Notice is hereby given that Orkney Islands Council has made an order in terms of section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users while Walk The Plank hold an event.
The order will be in operation on Saturday 20 August 2022 between the hours of 19:00 and 23:59. The effect of the Order will be to close B9055 (Brodgar Road) between its junctions with the A965 and the Lyking Road, between the hours on the day stated.
Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when the road is closed.
