Survey launched to shape Community Learning and Development Plan

Date: 5 June 2024

The Orkney Community Learning and Development Partnership are encouraging folk to respond to a questionnaire to help shape their three-year plan around the services you would like them to prioritise.

That could be adult learning, youth work, family learning, employability, digital skills to name a few areas mentioned in the survey.

Service Manager (Community Learning, Development & Employability), Kerry Spence, said: “This is a chance for people at the heart of all that we do to feedback how they would like us to prioritise areas of learning, development and employability for the next three years.

“We want to hear what’s most important to people living in communities throughout Orkney in terms of what you learn, areas for us to develop and how best to help people into employment. We have tried to make the survey quick and easy, so it should only take a few minutes to complete.

“We would really value your feedback to help us shape the statutory plan for 2024-2027.”

The plan, which is due to be published in September 2024, sets out the priorities for a range of services and partners including adult learning, youth work, family learning, Orkney residents and community groups and organisations.
