Have you dealt with our customer services teams lately – whether that be through phone, email, online or face to face? We’d love to hear what you think of the service they provided.

You can fill in a short survey here – one for Kirkwall and one for Stromness and these will remain open until Wednesday 30 November at 5pm:

More than 100 responses have been received so far, but the team would like to hear from more of you.

The Council’s Customer Services Team Manager, Catherine Foubister, said: “We are grateful for the positive feedback in terms of the ‘polite, friendly and helpful’ frontline staff – it’s a welcome boost for our customer services teams to know that they are doing a fantastic job in dealing with the public.

“But we are also keen to know if there are areas we can do better, so please let us know. In particular we want to hear feedback on whether our customers find it difficult to get through on the phone to both the customer services team and the back offices. We’d also like to hear from the folk who still come into the Council Offices to find out why they don’t want to use our 24/7 MyOrkney online service. Maybe they’d like some help to show them how?”

Customers will also be able to complete the surveys via tablets located on stands within the reception areas. Paper copies are also available from Customers Services, via post and staff are happy to assist by filling in a survey with customers over the phone on 01856 873535.
