Surface dressing update – Friday 30 July

Our roads crews are planning to carry out surface dressing in South Ronaldsay on Friday 30 July.

They will be working on a section of the Ourigar Road running from its junction the A961, the main road through the island.

This will be followed by work on a section of the A961 from just south of the junction with the local recycling centre access road, to just south of the junction with the Ourigar Road. A signed diversion will be in place.

Full road closures will be in place while surface dressing is underway. We thank residents and drivers for the patience and co-operation while this important work is carried out.

Drivers are reminded for everyone's safety to observe the speed limits in place on newly dressed roads.
