St Rognvald’s Peedie County Show hailed a great success
Date: 25 July 2022
The second Peedie County Show at St Rognvald’s has been hailed a great success.
From the age of just two weeks old to 101 years young, friends and family joined together at the residential care home with loved ones and staff for a day of music, animals, games, food, fun and laughter.
Manager Shirley Miller praised the efforts of everyone involved in bringing the event to a successful conclusion once more.
“Everyone pulled out all the stops to ensure the residents, visitors and staff had a great time. Our thanks must go to the staff of Highland Park who came along and put up the marquees to all those who made the event such as success, including Genuine Draft, the Highland Dancers, all animal and stall owners and the Snak Pot and Ice-cream folks for keeping everyone fed and watered.
“It was lovely seeing the smiles on the faces of residents and hearing folk just blethering and enjoying all that was on offer. An added bonus was raising more than £2,000 for the facility’s Activity Fund which will be used for the benefit of residents.”
Here’s a lovely selection of photos from the event.
