St Peter's Project Underway

Work has begun on a replacement for St Peter's House, with a ceremonial turf cutting taking place.
The new £9 million development will replace the current 32-bed facility with a modern 40-bed care home at Garson.
It was announced last month that the contract for the construction of the new building had been awarded to local firm Orkney Builders (Contractors) Ltd.
The construction of the new care home will be a two-year project, with completion planned for 2019.
