Schools COVID-19 update 21 December

St Andrews Primary School has a total of 30 confirmed PCR cases of COVID-19 as of today, Tuesday 21 December.

No new positive lateral flow tests or outstanding PCR test results have been reported.

All schools are now closed for the festive break and are due to return on Wednesday 5 January.

We would like to thank the tremendous efforts of all involved in trying to keep Orkney safe – have a lovely Christmas and New Year and please remain vigilant for symptoms and to continue with lateral flow tests and to log the results online whether negative or positive.

All new testing procedures are outlined on the NHS Orkney website.
