Regional votes announced

The number of votes cast in Orkney for parties and candidates on the Highlands and Islands Regional List has been announced.
On the regional ballot paper, electors voted for a party or individual to represent the Highlands and Islands at the Scottish Parliament.
The declaration of the full Regional result will not be made until Saturday 8 May, when all the counts across the Highlands and Islands Region have been completed.
Returning Officer John Mundell announced the regional totals for Orkney after the votes cast locally were counted at the Pickaquoy Centre in Kirkwall:
