Recycling disruptions today and tomorrow

Orkney Islands Council is advising that, due to technical issues with a recycling lorry, today's (Monday 21 October) recycling collection in Area 6 - East Holm/Tankerness/Deerness - was not completed. The Council plans to pick up from the below affected streets on Thursday (24 October).

Trade customers in St Andrews, Tankerness and Toab are also affected.
The mechanical problems mean tomorrow's (22 October) collections are being postponed until Thursday (24 October), for these streets/roads in Areas 2 and 7:
