Orkney Youth Forum raises over £2k at Blue Door

The Orkney Youth Forum raised £2,044.18 at the Blue Door earlier in October.

Megan Clouston, Chair of the Orkney Youth Forum, has thanked all involved in supporting their 'Blue Door week':

"Thank you to the Blue Door for having us and to everyone who donated raffle prizes, bought something in the shop and donated items.

"We are so grateful to have achieved this amazing amount. A big shout out goes to everyone in the Youth Forum, and friends and family, who gave up their time to volunteer in the shop and help make our week in the blue door such a success."

The Orkney Youth Forum is supported by the Council's Community Learning and Development and Employability Service.

Fundraising by the Orkney Youth Forum helps support initiatives for young people such as their 'bubble tea and boccia' events underway this autumn.
