Kirkwall flagstone repairs - update for Main Street and Victoria Street

Orkney Islands Council is reminding motorists that the south end of Victoria Street in Kirkwall is currently closed to vehicles, between Victoria Road and Clay Loan/Union Street, to allow recent flagstone repairs to cure.

Motorists are also advised that Main Street, Kirkwall, will close from tomorrow (Tuesday 26 October) to enable flagstone repairs to be carried out.

Both the above will likely remain closed to vehicles throughout this week and into the weekend as curing takes place – however, pedestrian access is being maintained.
