GAiN UK rep in Orkney appeals for hygiene pack donations - United with Ukraine

Orkney’s Jenni Wilson recently joined the charity GAiN UK as a collection point for donations to assist people in crisis situations and poverty around the world.

Little did she know when she started, that just days later she would be sharing an appeal for support for Ukraine - an Eastern European country invaded by its Russian neighbours just over a week ago.

She explained that GAiN Germany, who are coordinating the response, have said in critical need at the moment are items for hygiene packs – soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, razor, flannel, comb, hand cream, deodorant, tissues, new underwear, sock, sanitary products.

GAiN are not asking for any further donations of clothing at this time, however Jenni says she is still happy to accept and store a limited amount for when it may be needed. Donate to support the cost of transporting goods to refugees.
