Disruption to payments in person on Monday 13 December

Orkney Islands Council is advising customers there may be a delay when making payments in person on Monday 13 December as upgrades to OIC’s payments system are carried out.

This will affect transactions made in person at the Council Offices in both School Place, Kirkwall and the Warehouse Buildings, Stromness that day.

Customers will still be able to make payments online via MyOrkney and over the phone for the majority of our services.

Normal services should resume by Tuesday 14 December 2021.

The Council apologises for any inconvenience and thanks customers in advance for their patience.
