Cursiter recycling centre update
Date: 25 October 2017
Time: 02:40
Cursiter household waste and recycling centre has reopened for public use following temporary closure this morning to enable staff to deal with a small oil spoil.
The decision to temporarily close was taken to prevent traffic spreading the spill of engine oil.
Members of the public are advised that although the centre is open, the waste oil receptacle has been cordoned off and is not currently useable.
Waste oil can be taken to adjacent sites – Hatston and Garson - until a suitable alternative replacement tank is in place.
