Community call to help shape Smiddybrae’s 20th anniversary celebrations

The 20th anniversary of Smiddybrae House is fast approaching and staff are holding an event to gather ideas from the community as to how best to mark the occasion.  

Registered Manager, Kirstie Moar, said: “We are having a get together at Smiddybrae at 7.30pm on 5 February for the local community, past and present staff members, family members of residents and volunteers.  

“It is a planning meeting to get ideas of how best to celebrate Smiddybrae’s 20th anniversary.  We’re thinking of having something at Smiddybrae and then maybe something later in the year at a local hall, but the celebration will very much be led by a committee of people who wish to be involved.  

“Please come along to the planning event and get involved to help us celebrate the anniversary.”
