Calling all Bingo enthusiasts! St Rognvald House staff are “asking for more” help with their fundraiser!

Get ready to “knock at the door” of the Kirkwall Royal British Legion on Friday (11 October) for a night of Bingo fun as St Rognvald House staff continue their £40k fundraiser. 

To help achieve the target, folk are invited along to the prize Bingo Night – doors open at 6.30pm with eyes down at 7.30pm. It’s £2 at the door, and this includes the chance to win some great prizes and supper is included. There’s also a raffle.    

Staff have been organising a series of events throughout 2024 raising funds for a summer house, polytunnel and men’s shed for their new-build facility. The additions will be accessible-friendly with various sided workbenches and planters to suit all abilities. 

Kirstin Swannie and Pam Dearness, from St Rognvald’s, said: “We are absolutely delighted with the running total so far and cannot thank the public enough for their support.  

“Most recently we held a ‘Gin Night’ at the Masonic raising a whopping £2700. We are also very grateful to share that we have been award £2000 from Scottish Sea Farms. The grand total raised so far… and counting… is sitting at over £7000. 

“We have some fantastic prizes for our latest Bingo event and great raffles. Please come along for what we are sure will be a super night and support our fundraiser.”
