Bus information for Dounby and County Show days

Orkney Islands Council’s Transportation Service is reminding bus passengers of additions and amends to bus services for the Douby and County Shows.
A special public shuttle bus service will once again operate between Kirkwall and Dounby, and Stromness and Dounby for Dounby Show day on Thursday 8 August.
Stagecoach is also sponsoring and running a County Show Day ‘Park and Ride’ free shuttle service, with buses running between Orkney Auction Mart and Bignold Park (via Pickaquoy Road) all day from 8.30am to 5.30pm.
And the No. 2 bus (Houton) will run to an amended timetable on Saturday 10 August, to meet the south isles County Show Day sailings arranged by Orkney Ferries.
