Bus and Ferry Timetable Changes for Winter Period

Passengers are reminded that with effect from Monday 30 September, Orkney Ferries Ltd will commence winter services.  Online booking and timetable information can be found at www.orkneyferries.co.uk

Bus passengers are reminded that the Service 2 (Houton) and Service 6 (Tingwall) Sunday services will change from 6 October to coincide with the winter ferry timetables.

Bus timetable information can be found at www.orkney.gov.uk/bus and in bus shelters and bus timetable poles across Orkney.  

The ‘Orkney Public Bus Guide’ is also available from Kirkwall and Stromness Travel Centre, Customer Services in Kirkwall and Stromness, and Orkney Library and Archive in Kirkwall.  

Passengers are also encouraged to use the Stagecoach Bus App which allows you to plan journeys and track buses live on an interactive map.

New bus timetables for the winter period starting 28 October will be available soon.
