    In accordance with Section 18C of the Representation of the People Act 1983, as amended by the Electoral Administration Act 2006, notice is hereby given that Orkney Islands Council is undertaking a statutory review of polling districts and polling places within the Orkney Islands Area of the Orkney and Shetland Parliamentary Constituency.

  • Orkney asked for views on 20mph in towns and villages

    Council launches survey and public drop ins 

    Orkney Islands Council is asking residents for their thoughts on reducing 30mph speed limits inbuilt-up areas around the county to 20mph. 

    The Council has published an online survey and will also run a series of drop in events to gather folks’ views.
