Temporary Closure of Road for Orkney Triathlon Club event

Notice is hereby given that Orkney Islands Council has made an order in terms of section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 to ensure the safety of the public and road users while Orkney Triathlon Club hold an event.

The order will be in operation on Saturday, 6 July 2024 between the hours of 1000 and 1600 and its effect will be to close the roads specified in the schedule hereto. Traffic signs will be erected to indicate when a road is closed.

Schedule

(1) A965 Stromness, between A967 and Howe Road; (2) Cairston Road, Stromness; (3) Church Road, Stromness; (4) Deepdale Branch Road; (5) Dundas Street, Stromness; (6) Ferry Road, Stromness; (7) Graham Place, Stromness; (8) John Street, Stromness, from No 27 John Street to Victoria Street; and (9) Victoria Street, Stromness.
