Schools celebrate National Biscuit Day!

Today is National Biscuit Day, so if you're nuts about ginger nuts, or like to cook up a cookie – then today’s the day!  

Young folk across Orkney schools were able to sample a range of bikkies as part of a treat laid on by the school catering teams.  

The annual occasion pays tribute to one of the nation's most beloved treats, the humble biscuit! So, whatever your preference – be it the classic digestive or shortbread to the caramel wafer or custard cream, there’s a biscuit to suit every taste and occasion!  

Grab an afternoon cuppa, sit back and have yourself a peedie treat!
