Have your say in national review of Community Learning and Development

Date: 26 February 2024

From a friendly face at school, to a supportive nudge on a Duke of Edinburgh expedition.

From an exciting new evening class, to supporting people who’ve had a gap in their career to get back to work.

From supporting young people as they tackle youth loneliness and other issues that affect them, to bringing together volunteers who run halls in the county to share challenges, funding opportunities and ideas.

And much more in between!

The Council’s Community Learning, Development and Employability team helps ensure everyone has opportunity to succeed and feel connected to their community.

Please take part in the Scottish Government’s independent review of Community Learning and Development (CLD) – part of a series of reviews being carried out right across Education in Scotland - and share with the panel your experiences and the impact of CLD on your life and learning. Comments close on 3 March.

Complete the survey now via the Scottish Government website.
