Last chance to help name Council gritters!

The link for folks to submit name suggestions for the Council's eight mainland gritters closes this Sunday at midnight.

We've had a great repsonse so far with nearly 700 suggestions - keep them coming folks!

You can submit as many names as you like. 

Icy themes, a play on place names, a flip of famous monikers, a deft divergence of dialect - it's over to you! (But please keep them family friendly).

We'd love to see suggestions from bairns too, with the help of a responsible adult.

Entries close Sunday 7 January 2024 at midnight.
