Garson and Hatston tips due to reopen midday Wednesday

The Council's waste and recycling centres at Garson and Hatston will reopen at midday on Wednesday 20 December, following their temporary closure today due to a vehicle breakdown on Monday.

It's planned to bring in a vehicle Wednesday morning to both sites to empty the skips and make sure both sites are serviced and ready for use again.

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank folks for their patience as we worked to resolve this.
