Update on outdoors cleaning at Kirkwall Travel Centre soon-copy

OIC is advising the planned external cleaning at Kirkwall Travel Centre will now be carried out from this Sunday (19 February).

Weather dependent, its hoped much of the cleaning will be completed on Sunday, with remaining work carried out the following Sunday (26 February), to minimise disruption to public bus users.

Work will include pressure washing and cleaning the footpaths and bus shelters. There will be times that access to the indoors bus waiting area may be restricted but one door to the building will remain open.

Bus services will operate as normal and to timetable, however there may be times that certain bus stand areas will be inaccessible and an alternative stand used.
