Hoy on Hoy event postponed

As a mark of respect and to honour the period of mourning following the sad passing of Queen Elizabeth II, the visit to Hoy and formal opening of Scapa Flow Museum by Sir Chris Hoy and the ‘Hoy on Hoy’ community events will not be going ahead on Saturday 17 September. Further updates will be issued in due course.
The Houton-Flotta-Lyness sailings for Saturday 17 September will revert to the usual timetable. Any passengers booked onto sailings that day will be contacted by Orkney Ferries over coming days to check whether they wish to confirm another sailing time, or cancel their booking and obtain a refund.
The public bus timetable (Service 2 Kirkwall-Houton) will also revert to the normal summer timetable available at www.orkney.gov.uk/bus
