Festive lighting removal - road disruptions (Thursday and Friday)

OIC’s roads team will in Broad Street, Kirkwall and St Margaret’s Hope on Thursday and Friday, 27 and 28 January , to take down festive lighting.

There will be brief road closures at times so that lighting can be taken down safely. These will last only a few minutes at time, and will be kept to a minimum.

The Council would like to thank drivers in advance for their patience and apologises for any inconvenience as this work is carried out over the next couple of days.
