King Street Kirkwall road closure this Friday

Orkney Islands Council’s roads team will be closing King Street on Friday, 28 January, to enable some carriageway patching to be carried out in safety.

The road will be closed between the King Street car park (next to the dentist) and the junctions with Laing Street and Mill Street. The King Street car park will still be accessible if coming from the south/uphill end of King Street. Mill Steet and Laing Street junctions will also be accessible, from the north side of the road closure.
