Waste collection update for Area 7 in Kirkwall South (26 October)

Orkney Islands Council is advising it’s waste team has been unable to complete part of Area 7 (Kirkwall South) household waste collections today (26 October).

The area affected is from Claymore and Royal Oak Court to Lynn Cres, and out to Makenzie Dr / Park / Place and surrounding roads.

The team will collect from these households tomorrow (Wed 27 Oct) - affected households are advised to have their bins out by 8am for collection.

The Council would like to apologise to those affected for this disruption and thanks households in advance for their patience tomorrow as crews work to catch up.
